Retro Café
Where Time Slows and Stories Begin
A Café for the Dreamers and the Drifters.
In the heart of the neighborhood, between streets filled with yesterday’s laughter and the scent of fresh coffee, Retro Caféwas born.
It isn’t just another coffee shop it’s a quiet corner of time, where the old meets the new, and music drifts like a conversation between friends.
Here, no one is in a hurry.
Everything moves at a slower, warmer, more human rhythm.
But behind that cozy charm, something was missing a visual and verbal identity that could tell its story the way it feels.
That’s when Tnween stepped in to capture the café’s soul and turn it into a brand that people could not only see, but feel.
The Challenge: A Soul Without a Shape
Retro Café had a clear soul, but no face.
The furniture, the lighting, the music they all spoke the same language: bohemian simplicity.
But there was no cohesive identity, no voice to carry the emotion.
Our mission was to create a brand that truly looked and felt like Retro: warm, free, honest a celebration of the beautiful imperfection in life’s small details.
Warmth, Simplicity, and Soul
Every cup of coffee here is served with something deeper than caffeine it’s served with a feeling of belonging.
From that truth, the brand’s promise was born:
“A place that feels like your favorite memory.”
Retro Café isn’t a space for coffee alone; it’s a space for reflection, for stories, for stillness.
The goal was never to build a brand that sells coffee but to build an experience that brings you back to yourself.
Designing a Feeling, Not a Trend
We began by embracing the essence of the bohemian spirit freedom, authenticity, and the beauty of imperfection.
We didn’t want perfection; we wanted truth.
The strategy stood on three pillars:
1. Warmth: Colors, words, and images that touch memory before they touch the eye.
2. Honesty: A human tone unpolished, unforced, unmistakably real.
3. Comfort: A sense of quiet belonging in every detail, both online and offline.
Retro Café wasn’t built to impress it was built to feel.
Gentle, Artistic, Timeless
Every detail was crafted to tell a story, not to showcase design for its own sake:
• Logo: A handwritten-inspired mark imperfect, natural, human.
• Color Palette: Earthy browns, soft beige, muted green tones that feel sun-faded and familiar.
• Typography: Vintage, organic typefaces reminiscent of hand-painted café signs.
• Imagery: Natural light, half-filled cups, genuine smiles, unfinished conversations.
• Voice: Warm, witty, effortlessly human like chatting with a friend who knows your order by heart.
Every visual, every word was designed to whisper: “You belong here.”

A New Old Soul
Since its rebrand, Retro Café has become the heartbeat of its neighborhood.
People don’t just visit for coffee they come for the comfort of being known.
The results spoke softly but powerfully:
- Increased visits and digital engagement.
- Stronger emotional connection with customers.
- A renewed sense of pride among the team.
Retro Café evolved from a nice spot to a story worth sharing a place that lives in people’s memories.
